I have not played the game yet since porting it but immediately the
graphics look a lot better than when I played this game years ago on Win
XP... Love this game despite some of the graphics glitches...
This compilation pack contains two adventure titles from acclaimed
designer Benoît Sokal. Included are both Syberia and Syberia II.
SYBERIA -- A journey beyond compare... For the young
Kate
Walker, an ambitious lawyer, the Voralberg toy company acquisition
seemed like a textbook case -- a quick stopover to a small alpine
village in France to buy-out an old automaton factory, then straight
back home to New York. Her journey across land and time throws all she
values into question, while the deal she set out to sign turns into a
pact with destiny...
SYBERIA II -- Embarking on a desperate search for Hans Voralberg, Kate
Walker crosses Europe from West to East. She has left behind all her
worldly possessions with the express purpose of joining the heir of the
Voralberg family on his journey. Together, through mystical and
enchanting lands, they will find their way to the mythical Syberia, land
of the forgotten mammoths. Make your way to Syberia, overcome many
difficult obstacles on the way, and deal with shady characters to
uncover clues vital to the continuation of the quest. The game features
four different worlds to explore and an updated graphics engine with
dynamic lighting effects.

UPDATE - ISSUES
Playing through this game I ran into a big problem on Syberia 1. you
reach a point where you need to insert the Voralberg Voice Recorder into
Hans and Anna's Musical Box... and the game asks you to 'insert CD1',,,
this is critical to progress.
Solution:
Right Click Syberia.app
Choose Show Package Contents/drive_C/
Program Files/Microids/SyberiaDVD/Syberia/Video
There you will find a folder named AN
Without closing this Window - ie the "Video" Window¡¦.drag AN to your desktop
Open the AN folder and drag the 3 files therein back to the Video Folder and delete the AN folder entirely¡¦
Close out everything and
relaunch Syberia¡¦problem solved
Also I noticed and is mentioned here in the comments also that on
Syberia II the cut scenes for some reason appear to be in German whereas
the game is installed in English... I'll try to rip out the English Cut
Scenes and post them with overwrite instructions and upload them
seperately...
